CPC stands for Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 and was drafted by the British Rulers in India.  The main objective for enacting this Code of Civil Procedure is to codify the procedures for conducting the Civil cases in India.  Based on the Sections and the Orders provided in Code of Civil Procedure the entire Civil Courts are functioning.  There are 158 Sections and 51 Orders in the Code of Civil Procedure.  Through the Code of Civil Procedure, affected Parties can enforce their civil rights in the respective Civil Courts in India.
